Are you skilled in precision cutting and operating laser machinery? Planet Scribbles Qatar is looking for a Laser & Acrylic Cutting Officer to manage customized cutting jobs for packaging, gifting, and branding products.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Operate laser cutting machines for acrylic, wood, MDF, and paper products
Interpret and execute cutting files accurately (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, AutoCAD)
Maintain and calibrate cutting machines regularly
Monitor material usage and ensure efficient processing
Coordinate with design and production teams for quality assurance
Ensure proper safety and maintenance protocols are followed
Manage and organize finished goods for delivery or next production stages
Qualifications
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in laser cutting operations
Hands-on experience with laser cutting machines (Trotec, Epilog, or similar)
Working knowledge of design software (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, AutoCAD)
Attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
Must be currently in Qatar with valid QID (transferable preferred)
